Why choose me to sell your home?
Hi I’m Hannah Carr, your local, bespoke estate agent.
Since 2012 I have worked for some of the big names in the industry, and I am delighted to be part of eXp, one of the largest estate agents in the world! The collaboration now means I can offer you the best of both worlds – all the best bits from the High Street estate agent, with the personal service of an independent agency.
The bespoke part of what I do lies in dealing with every one of my sales and customers in a unique way. To give everyone I deal with the time they deserve to ensure that you receive the best possible service and achieve the best possible results.
I have sold thousands of homes in some fantastic markets, but the real experience comes from selling homes in some incredibly challenging markets, which I now have the grey hairs and the wrinkles to show for! I offer brilliant local knowledge, years of experience and a real person to lean on so that you get the very best advice through the entire process – including help with your onward search if you have one. I really care about my business and my clients; your experience and successful move is my livelihood and reputation.
How I am helping others to sell their homes
Being village based, most of the properties I sell are complicated and unique, from listed cottages to extensive equestrian homes. But I will rise to the challenge to make your move as seamless as it can be. My time in the housing industry, my equestrian background and my previous listed property ownership and renovation project has given me the personal experience and understanding needed to navigate the market to find you the best buyer at the best price. In short – I know what I’m doing!
I have an extensive local database of buyers waiting for a home like yours and I am very proactive in selecting the right purchasers to introduce to your home. I use highly effective marketing methods such as specialist websites, magazines and a sophisticated social media strategy to put your home in front of the right buyers. Combined with the right pricing strategy, beautiful photos and video, I will ensure that you will sell in a good time frame, even in the toughest of markets.
How do I differ from other ‘local’ estate agents?
I find that many buyers moving to our area follow a similar journey to the one I have had, which means I can relate to you and your buyers and help on a personal level. I also wholeheartedly love village life. I understand the importance of knowing where the nearest amenities are and what the local community is like. Most High Street estate agents are based in towns and won’t be able to relate to you or your buyers on that sort of level.
Joining eXp also means I can offer my clients a broader range of selling opportunities, and a network of other like minded agents to help sell their homes. Your home will be marketed and pushed via;
- All the major portals including Rightmove, Zoopla, On The Market and Prime Location
- The extensive eXp network
- The Bystander Magazine
- Specialist websites such as the Listed Property Owners Club and Equestrian websites
I also have a database of registered buyers who are waiting to view a home like yours.
About the villages in Cambridgeshire,
Huntingdonshire and North Bedfordshire
The attraction of the villages in our area is that lucky residents benefit from beautiful countryside, amazing walks and rides right on your doorstep, but you can also be in a city in less than an hour… Cambridge, Peterborough and Bedford are just a short car ride away. We are perfectly placed to get anywhere in the UK with a short hop onto the A14, A1 or M1 and catch fast, regular trains into London and the rest of the UK.
Every village is a little different in what it offers, but generally the schools are excellent and the people are wonderful. I can certainly recommend trying all the local pubs (but it would take a while as there’s a lot of them!) There are some amazing country parks about too, and the wonderful Grafham Water is a destination offering cafes, green spaces, play grounds, walking, cycling and of course the lake for water sports and fishing.
One of the great things I love about living in the area is the amount of local produce you can find. In Catworth for example; you can buy fruit and veg grown in the village from Alpino Gardens and meat reared on the outskirts by Chestnut farm or Tilbrook Grange. It doesn’t get much better for freshness and reducing your carbon footprint than that!
